Meet Stephanie

Stephanie Flittner is a wife, mother, lawyer and community advocate in Carmel, Indiana. With degrees from the University of Michigan and Indiana University McKinney, Stephanie currently works as Assistant General Counsel at Shiel Sexton, where she employs her analytical skills and legal acumen to navigate the complexities of the construction industry.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Stephanie is deeply invested in her community. She serves as precinct committeeman and the chairwoman of the Hamilton County Young Republicans because she is passionate about civic engagement and political advocacy. She has a passion for volunteerism and is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. She is a former president of the Junior League of Indianapolis and the serves as on the Indiana Wish Board of Directors as secretary. She is also a member of St. Margaret’s Guild and serves on the Board for the Cherry Tree Elementary PTO. Stephanie believes in the importance of community involvement and support for Carmel Clay Schools and co-chaired the PAC for the 2023 Operating Referendum for our school district. She is a member of 2023-2024 Lugar Series Class and was a 2024 IBJ 40 under 40 honoree. 

Balancing her demanding career and community service, Stephanie finds joy and rejuvenation in her personal life. She is a group fitness enthusiast , enjoys culinary explorations, and cherishes time spent with her family—her husband Andrew, their children Michael and Margot, and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Senator Washington.
